Emergency Rope Ladders & Safety Ropes

Rope Ladders & Ropes in Pakistan

Saif Al Burhan supplies rope ladders in Pakistan along with a wide range of industrial and natural fibre ropes. They are used for climbing, access, rigging, marine, warehouse and general utility work. Everything is supplied from Karachi, and bulk quantities are available on quote.

Rope Ladders

Our rope ladders come in nylon, cotton, manila and sisal. Nylon rope ladders are strong and lightweight, and they resist rot and moisture, which makes them the most durable choice outdoors. Cotton is soft on the hands, while manila and sisal give a natural grip for outdoor climbing, training areas and play structures. Check the rated load, and anchor the ladder securely at the top before every use.

Emergency Escape Ladder: What to Look For

To evacuate a building in a fire or emergency, use a purpose-built emergency escape ladder certified to a recognised standard. It should have a rated anchoring system that fits your window or balcony. Store it near the exit point and practise deploying it, because every second counts in a real emergency.

Fire Escape Rope & Kernmantle Rope

Any rope used to lower or support a person, such as a fire escape or rescue rope, must be life-safety rated. Kernmantle rope is the standard. It has a strong load-bearing core (kern) inside a protective woven sheath (mantle). Static, low-stretch kernmantle rope certified to EN 1891 is used for rescue, rope access and evacuation, while dynamic rope stretches to absorb falls in climbing. General-purpose ropes, including natural fibre, HDPE and parachute cord, are not designed for life-safety use.

Nylon Rope & Industrial Ropes

• Twisted nylon rope: strong, elastic and abrasion resistant, for rigging, towing, tie-downs and marine use.
• Polyester and multifilament braided rope: strong, low-stretch options for industrial utility work.
• HDPE rope: lightweight and UV resistant, for agriculture, fishing and outdoor use.
• Parachute (tyrecord) rope: water resistant and strong for its size, for tying and securing loads.
• Manila, sisal, jute and cotton rope: natural fibre ropes with a firm grip, for packaging, gardening, decoration and light-duty tying.
